Directions
The Triangle is a private pool located close to St Pius school in Fulwood. As you pass St Pius School on your left hand side heading towards Preston you will approach a set of traffic lights. Approximately 30 metres before the traffic lights there is a small cul-de-sac on the left hand side named "The Triangle". THIS IS A PRIVATE DRIVE! PLEASE DO NO ENTER THE CUL-DE-SAC IN YOUR VEHICLE! There is no room to turn around and the venue has private neighbours which need full access at all times. Please park on Garstang Road ONLY. Due to high amounts of traffic and for the safety of residents, under no circumstances must you park on Highgate Avenue.
The pool entrance is at the end of the Triangle drive ( House Number 3 ) you will see an open carport, the entrance used for swimming lessons will be have a sign on the front door.
Please ensure you read through the following information below before you attend your lessons.
Changing Facilities/ Viewing area
YOU MUST NOT ENTER THE VENUE/POOL UNLESS A TEACHER IS PRESENT.
There is one large changing area located to the far right of the building, we ask that parents only use this area to get their child changed after their lesson. For children over 8 years old, there is a smaller changing area (middle door on the right) which is suitable for one child to change at a time.
Important information
- During lessons parents/guardians must spectate on poolside quietly.
- Please restrict spectating to one parent per child to avoid overcrowding.
- Please ensure your child goes to the toilet before the start of their lesson.
- We have a strict no phones or electronic devices policy on poolside or in the changing areas to fall in line with our child protection policy.
- To ensure lessons run safely and on time please bring your child onto poolside a couple of minutes before their lesson starts.
- When entering poolside, please remove your shoes and keep with your belongings.
- For health and safety reasons all swimmers with hair longer than shoulder length must wear a swim hat and we recommend all swimmers wear goggles (excluding those on the Aqua Babies programme).
- For those attending our Aqua Babies programme a well-fitting neoprene swim nappy must be worn as well as a disposable swim nappy.
- If you have any questions for teachers (unless it is urgent for the children’s safety), please do not discuss any issues in between lessons. If you have any queries or concerns, please contact the office.
- If you are attending our Aqua Babies programme, prams and car seats are not to be left on site during the lesson time.
- Prams and pushchairs must not be left in the changing rooms.
- If you are attending our Aqua Babies programme, a responsible adult will be required to get into the water with your child during their lesson.
