Directions

Enter Shaw Hill Drive off the A6. Follow the road to the car park, please be aware this is a public access road with housing either side.

Entrance

Use the entrance to the leisure club opposite the hotel entrance.

Changing Facilities / Viewing area

Bring your child swim ready, with swimwear underneath outdoor clothing.

The teacher will be in the pool, please only deliver your child to poolside 3 minutes before the start of your lesson.

Due to overcrowding and this being a leisure facility, there must be one parent/guardian per every 2 children. Parents/Guardians can spectate from poolside using the designated seating. Two minutes before the end of the lesson, please return to the changing areas where your children will follow when their lesson is complete.

Important information

- During lessons a maximum of one parent/guardian must spectate from poolside.

- Please ensure your child goes to the toilet before the start of their lesson.

- We have a strict no phones or electronic devices policy on poolside or in the changing areas to fall in line with our child protection policy. 

- To ensure lessons run safely and on time please bring your child onto poolside a couple of minutes before their lesson starts. 

- When entering poolside, please remove your shoes and keep with your belongings.

- For health and safety reasons all swimmers with hair longer than shoulder length must wear a swim hat and we recommend all swimmers wear goggles (excluding those on the Aqua Babies programme).

- For those attending our Aqua Babies programme a well-fitting neoprene swim nappy must be worn as well as a disposable swim nappy.

- If you have any questions for teachers (unless it is urgent for the children’s safety), please do not discuss any issues in between lessons. If you have any queries or concerns, please contact the office.

- If you are attending our Aqua Babies programme, prams and car seats are not to be left on site during the lesson time.

- Prams and pushchairs must not be left in the changing rooms.

- If you are attending our Aqua Babies programme, a responsible adult will be required to get into the water with your child during their lesson.
